Blog

The Lehrman American Studies Center Blog provides a forum for free and open discussions about faculty life in higher education. Bloggers write about a variety of topics, including those on teaching and pedagogy, writing and publishing, and academic life outside the classroom.

Teaching Resources

An online database of scholarly resources and tools designed to assist professors in their course preparation. It features a wide-array of teaching modules and syllabi from various academic disciplines such as history, political science, economics, and classical studies. The Resource Catalog also contains a searchable directory of important monographs, useful Internet sites, and online digital libraries.

Lecture Videos

The lecture library contains talks delivered by some of today's leading scholars, including Robert George, Harvey Mansfield, and Josiah Bunting. Lectures focus on American history and culture and feature such topics as leadership within the American republic, the United States' founding era, and the influence of the humanities upon contemporary American society.
