How Do Announcements Work?

Announcements on the Lehrman American Studies Center Online are published through a variety of media and channels in order to reach people when and how they would like to be reached. Once an announcement has been approved by an editor, it is placed in a queue for delivery. Some users will receive the announcement by email immediately. Others will receive it as part of a digest of messages at an interval of their choosing (within 30 days). Still others may opt out of the email delivery service but may follow the announcements page on the Lehrman American Studies Center Online.

Please be sure to specify an expiration date if this is a time-sensitive announcement.
