    Position: Assistant Professor, Political Science

    Eastern University, a university of the liberal arts and sciences located in suburban Philadelphia, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level in Political Science to begin August 2010. Applicants must be able to teach courses in political theory and a core curriculum course, Justice in a Pluralistic Society. Ability to teach in either comparative politics and/or methodology would be welcomed. A Ph.D. is preferred; however, A.B.D. applicants will be considered.  Candidates should be committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching, mentoring students, and scholarship. Salary is commensurate with experience. Additional documents will be requested from selected applicants.  Priority will be given to applications received before Dec. 15, 2009. Deadline for submission of application materials is January 5, 2010.

How Do Announcements Work?
