Eastern University, a university of the liberal arts and sciences located in suburban Philadelphia, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level in Political Science to begin August 2010. Applicants must be able to teach courses in political theory and a core curriculum course, Justice in a Pluralistic Society. Ability to teach in either comparative politics and/or methodology would be welcomed. A Ph.D. is preferred; however, A.B.D. applicants will be considered. Candidates should be committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching, mentoring students, and scholarship. Salary is commensurate with experience.
