    Houston, TX—November 5, 2009—The Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) in co-sponsorship with the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy at Rice University will host a lecture by Timothy P. Carney, author of The Big Ripoff: How Big Business and Big Government Steal Your Money.

    Mr. Carney is Lobbying Editor and Columnist for the Washington Examiner. He will discuss his book at the Rice University on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 6:00 PM.

How Do Announcements Work?

Announcements on the Lehrman American Studies Center Online are published through a variety of media and channels in order to reach people when and how they would like to be reached. Once an announcement has been approved by an editor, it is placed in a queue for delivery. Some users will receive the announcement by email immediately.
