The Department of Government, History and Criminal Justice in Regent University’s School of Undergraduate Studies is seeking candidates for a full-time, tenure-track position in History. Rank and specialty are open; the major is a new and growing major with offerings in American, European, and world history.
Minimum requirements for the faculty position include an earned Ph.D. in History, teaching experience, and a commitment to Christ-centered teaching and learning. The university seeks candidates who demonstrate strong commitment to excellence both in undergraduate teaching and in scholarship. Preferred: skill in curriculum design and facility with online instructional technology. Appointment will begin July 2010. Applications accepted until position is filled.
